Husö laboratory
The laboratory at Husö Biological Station offers adequate instrumentation for basic chemical and biological research, including facilities for water analyses and microscopy. The laboratory services include e.g. analyses of nutrients, chlorophyll, turbidity, oxygen.
Husö has indoor and outdoor experimental aquaria facilities with flow-through seawater, and possibility to temperature-regulated experiments in the indoor facilities. Small motor boats (<6 m) and field gear are available for sampling and surveying of water, sediment, benthos, vegetation and fish in the coastal areas (<30 m depth).

Long-term monitoring data from the Åland archipelago are available on temperature, salinity, nutrients, chlorophyll, and benthic macrofauna. Additional long-term data ( e.g. water quality, benthich fauna, fish and human pressures) are available through the Åland Government.
